Apply a brand theme
Make Creatio look like your customer's own system by applying the customer's colors, logos, favicon, and background. Use the creatio-branding-orchestrator skill: the coding agent collects brand data from the sources you provide and agrees on a readable palette with you. After you confirm, the agent builds and applies the theme and brand assets.
Before you start, set up Creatio AI app development toolkit. Learn more: Set up Creatio AI app development toolkit.
Prepare the following brand sources, whichever you have: a brandbook, company website, company name, logo, screenshot, or color hex values. For logos, prepare a main logo and a white or light variant for dark surfaces. You can apply branding at any time: before you build an app, after it, or without an app.
You can apply a full brand theme or only individual brand assets, such as logos or a background.
The theme and the brand assets have different scopes. The theme applies only to the account Clio is signed in as, which is often an administrative or service account. Logos, the favicon, and the background apply to the whole environment, including the login page. Every user sees them.
Apply a full brand theme
-
Open your coding agent and start a new session.
-
Send a branding request that names the environment and the customer's brand sources. For example:
Apply the brand from the attached brandbook to my development environment. The agent selects the matching skill automatically. To make sure the agent uses it, you can mention the
creatio-branding-orchestratorskill in your request. The agent checks that branding is available on the environment before the brand conversation starts. -
Agree on the primary color. The agent shows each candidate color as a swatch with a readability rating. If the color is hard to read, the agent offers a more readable variant.
-
Review the palette preview. The agent generates the secondary color and picks an accent color.
-
Provide the logos when the agent asks: the main logo and the white or light variant. If the brandbook contains logos, the agent offers to use them. The agent explains where each logo appears, selects the variant that suits each background, and prepares a square favicon from them.
-
Choose whether to add a background. The agent recolors a background picture to match the palette.
-
Choose a font or keep the default Montserrat font. The font must be available in Google Fonts.
-
Enter a theme name.
-
Confirm the final summary. The agent builds the theme and applies it to the account Clio is signed in as.
-
Confirm applying the brand assets. The agent applies the logos, favicon, and background to the whole environment.
-
Set the theme as default for everyone (optional). Ask the agent to do this if all users without a personal theme need the new look.
-
Refresh the open Creatio pages.
-
Sign out and sign in again to see the new favicon. If a browser tab still shows the old icon, close and reopen the tab.
As a result, Creatio uses the customer's palette, logos, favicon, and background. If you apply custom logos, the agent also updates the splash screen and the colored icon backgrounds in the left panel to match the brand.
Apply individual brand assets
To skip the unrelated steps, request only the asset you need. For example:
Replace the logos and favicon on my development environment.
Add a branded background on my development environment.
A request for logos or a favicon goes straight to the logos step and needs no theme name. A request for a background skips logos, fonts, and the theme build. It still includes the palette conversation, because the agent recolors the background to match the palette. In both cases, the agent asks for a separate confirmation before applying environment-wide assets.
Switch to another theme
In the same chat, ask the agent to return to the previous theme. In a new chat, ask the agent to list the available themes and apply the one you need. For example:
Show the themes available on my development environment and apply the default Creatio theme.
You can also change the theme manually on your profile page.
