Add a contract based on the order
In Creatio, there is a possibility to add a contract based on the order with full or partial automatic transfer for the products that are connected to the order.
To add a contract based on the order:
1.Go to the [Orders] section and open the required record.
2.Select the [Add contract based on order] action from the [Actions] menu (Fig. 1).
Note
The [Add contract based on order] action of the order page is available if the [Products] detail is filled in on the order page.

During this action, the user will be asked whether the products should be connected to the order. Select the required transfer approach:
[All] – the [Contract details] tab of the contract page will display a connection with all products connected to the order.
[Select] – an additional window will be opened to select the products that should be transferred to the contract.
In the next step, the page of the added contract will be opened.
Contract page auto-fill
The contract page added based on the order is filled in with the following data from the order page:
1.The [Account], [Contact], [Owner] fields are filled in with the values from the corresponding fields from the order page.
2.The [Amount], [Amount, base currency] values of the contract page are calculated as the total cost of the selected products in the transfer.
3.The number of the connected order is displayed in the [Order] field.
Also, the contract number is generated automatically on the contract page according to the pre-configured mask. The [Start date] field is filled in with the current date, the [Type] field is filled in with the "Contract" value and the [Status] field is filled in with the "Draft" value.
