How to set access permissions for a forecast

You can set access permissions for the whole forecast or for the specific records.

Note

For more information about access permissions, read the corresponding article.

Let us take a closer look at setting access permissions for each sales manager to individual forecast. To do this:

1.Open the previously created forecast.

2.Click the btn_com_folder_filter00001.png menu button and select the [Set up access rights] option.

3.On the opened page, set the access permissions.

a.Click the [New] button and select the “Read access right” option in the menu. Select all sales managers in the opened window.

b.Set the edit and delete access permissions for the sales department manager similarly.

c.Save the changes. As a result, the forecast will be available only for sales department employees.

4.On the forecast page, click the employee name. The btn_com_folder_filter00002.png button will appear at the right of the employee name. Click the button and set the access permissions to this forecast string (Fig. 1).
