Agents in Creatio AI Studio

An agent is a configured assistant that carries out a job on your behalf. It has an identity, a system prompt that tells it how to behave, and a model that generates its answers. On its own that is enough to be useful — a writing assistant needs nothing more. To do more, an agent draws on resources you attach to it: skills for procedures it must follow, knowledge sources for facts it must be accurate about, and tools for actions it must actually perform.

Creatio AI Studio is where you build your own: you choose the model, write the instructions, decide what the agent can reach, and control where it runs.

The Agents section is the catalog and workspace for every agent in your organization. It is where you create agents, see how each one is configured, check which are running, and open the one you need to work on.

Agent structure

Element

What it does

Identity

The name, code, and description. The code is the technical identifier Creatio AI Studio and the model use.

System prompt

The instructions sent to the model on every run — the agent's role, tone, and constraints. The single most important field.

Model and temperature

The LLM that generates the answers, and how varied those answers are.

Memory

Whether the agent keeps context across turns in one conversation.

Attached resources

Skills, knowledge sources, and tools. Learn more: Choose between a skill, a tool, and a knowledge source.

Reach

The channels users talk to it through, and the triggers that start it automatically.

The counters above the list

Three numbers sit above the agent list. Each one counts agents across the whole workspace, and each answers a different operational question. They report the state of the runtime — whether agents are up and reachable — not the quality of how they are configured.

Counter

What it counts

Agents

The total number of agents in the workspace.

Needs attention

How many agents are not running right now. This is the "is anything down?" number.

Voice-bound

How many agents are bound to a voice channel, and so can take calls.

Filter the catalog

Click Filters to narrow the list. Combine any of the following sections.

Filter

What it narrows by

Ownership

"Any," "Personal," or "Enterprise." Learn more: Personal and Enterprise agents.

Owner

The user an agent belongs to. The list shows every owner, with "Me" always first, and you can search it by name. This filter appears once you set Ownership to "Personal."

Skill

Agents with a given skill attached. Select Without skills to find agents that have none.

Deployments

The environments an agent is deployed to.

Channel

An available channel type, or a specific channel record.

Use the search box to find an agent by name, and the mode switch above the list to show all modes, prompt agents only, or workflow agents only. The view toggle beside it swaps between cards and a table. Click Clear all filters to reset the filters.

As a result, the list narrows to the agents you need. When nothing matches, Creatio AI Studio reports "No agents match this view."

Create an agent

Agents are created from the New button in this section. Creatio AI Studio offers the Prompt Agent Designer for natural-language agents, which is the designer this guide covers, and the Workflow Agent Designer for multi-step visual workflows, which is coming soon. A third designer, Code Agent Designer, is enabled per organization and appears only where it has been turned on.

For the procedure, see Create a prompt agent. To have an agent composed for you from a plain-language description instead, see Create an agent with AI Twin.
