Work with AI Twin

Level: beginner

The AI Twin chat on the Home page of Creatio AI Studio is where you talk to AI Twin and to the other agents available to you. You choose which agent answers each message, keep your work in separate conversations, and reuse what the agents answer.

Choose the agent that answers

The message box shows the icon and name of the agent that answers your next message, so you can see at a glance who you are talking to.

  1. Click the agent name in the message box. This opens the list of agents. You can also type @ in the message box to open the same list.
  2. Find the agent. If the list is long, type part of the agent name in the Search field.
  3. Select the agent.

As a result, Creatio AI Studio sends your next message to the selected agent. When you select another agent in an existing conversation, that agent answers with the earlier messages of the conversation available, including the results of tools used before the switch. Select the previous agent again to continue the same conversation with it.

View all agents in the conversations panel lists every agent available to you. The agents you added appear under Added, and the others under Not added. You can filter the list by All, Personal, or Enterprise, or find an agent in the Search agents field. An agent deleted in Creatio AI Studio disappears from the list without a page reload, and your conversations with it stay available to review.

An agent that AI Twin built for you is added to your agents when you click Use on its agent card. Learn more: Create an agent with AI Twin.

Run a skill

  1. Type / in the message box, or click the Commands and skills button there. The list offers the skills attached to and enabled on the selected agent.
  2. Select a skill.
  3. Describe your request and send it.

As a result, the selected agent runs that skill for your request. If the skill is no longer available to the agent, the conversation shows "Skill no longer available" and asks you to refresh the skill list and try again.

Dictate a message

You can speak your message instead of typing it. The recording turns into text in the message box, so you can check it before you send it.

  1. Select the agent that answers your message, if it is not selected yet.
  2. Click Voice message in the message box. If you are asked to allow access to the microphone, allow it.
  3. Speak your message.
  4. Click Stop and insert text when you finish. To cancel without adding text, click Discard recording instead.
  5. Review the text in the message box, edit it if needed, and send the message.

As a result, Creatio AI Studio transcribes the recording and adds the text to the message box, after any text you already typed. Nothing is sent until you send the message.

Follow an answer while the agent works

While an agent works on your request, one short line below the answer says what is happening, for example, "Looking up data…," "Creating a record…," or "Using an integration…," and otherwise "Thinking…." While the answer appears, the line reads "Typing…." The line disappears when the answer is finished or the request fails.

To stop an answer, click Stop in the message box. The line reads "Canceling…" and then "Canceled," and the message box is ready for your next prompt.

The chat waits for as long as the agent's run time budget allows, up to 3,600 seconds, so an agent working on a long task can finish its answer. The budget is set in Run time budget (seconds) in the Runtime limits block of the agent's Advanced tab. An agent without a budget of its own can run for up to 600 seconds. A new budget applies once the agent version that carries it is deployed. Learn more: Create a prompt agent.

When you reload the page while an agent is answering, the answer continues in place and shows its actions once it is finished. When the chat restarts its connection, for example, after your sign-in session is renewed, the answer appears in the same tab when it is ready.

Reuse prompts and answers

Message actions appear when you point to a message or move keyboard focus to it. They stay visible on the latest answer and on a prompt that is still running. On touch screens, the actions are always shown.

To reuse a request without retyping it, click Copy on your own prompt. On a finished answer, Copy copies the answer.

A long table in an answer keeps to a fixed height and scrolls inside the answer with its header row pinned, while a short table is shown in full. Each table has the following actions:

  • Copy table. Copies the table. It pastes as a table into documents and email, and as one cell per column into a spreadsheet.
  • Expand table. Opens the table over the chat area. Click Collapse table or press Esc to return to the conversation.

Manage conversations

Your conversations are listed under Chats in the conversations panel. To start a conversation, click New conversation.

AI Twin gives each new conversation a short title based on your first message, so you can find the conversation in the list by its topic. Until the title is ready, the conversation shows the beginning of your message. An administrator can choose the model that writes titles in Conversation titles on the Platform LLM page of Settings. Learn more: Connect a model provider.

To archive a conversation:

  1. Open the actions of the conversation next to its title in the conversations panel. The actions also include Rename and Delete.
  2. Click Archive.

As a result, Creatio AI Studio moves the conversation to your archived conversations. To see them, click the Chats heading. While archived conversations are shown, the heading reads Archived chats, and clicking it again returns you to the active conversations. The heading works as a filter once you have at least one archived conversation. To return an archived conversation to the active ones, open its actions and click Resume.

When a request cannot be completed

When AI Twin cannot accept or finish a request, the notice in the conversation starts with a short title that names what happened, followed by the reason and what to do next. A request stopped by a known condition, such as a usage limit or a missing permission, is shown as a warning, and a service failure is shown as an error. A request that could not be completed shows the same notice after you reload the page.
