Usage policy for WhatsApp bulk messaging functionality
Creatio WhatsApp bulk messaging functionality enables customers to connect their own WhatsApp Business Account via the Meta Cloud API and send bulk messages directly through Creatio. Creatio acts as an interface only and is not a party to the agreement between the customer and Meta. The following usage policies apply to the product.
Prior to sending WhatsApp bulk messages, customers must ensure that all selected recipients have provided valid consent to receive WhatsApp communications from their organization. By confirming each send action, the customer takes full responsibility for consent compliance.
WhatsApp message content
By using the WhatsApp bulk messaging functionality in Creatio, you agree not to do the following:
- Send messages that contain spam, unsolicited commercial content, or bulk messages to contacts who have not opted in to receive WhatsApp communications from your organization.
- Use WhatsApp messaging functionality for any purpose that violates Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy or WhatsApp Commerce Policy, including but not limited to promoting prohibited products or services.
- Defame, abuse, harass, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of any individual or organization through WhatsApp messages.
- Distribute or disseminate any information or materials that are inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent, unlawful, or injurious.
- Upload, transmit, or otherwise provide content that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any third party.
- Use the WhatsApp messaging functionality in connection with sending content that contains or activates any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations, or otherwise use the WhatsApp messaging functionality beyond the scope of authorization granted in your agreement with Creatio.
Sending WhatsApp bulk messages
By sending WhatsApp bulk messages from Creatio, you agree to the following:
- Be responsible for ensuring that your WhatsApp messaging activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to GDPR and any other data protection or privacy regulations applicable in the countries where you send messages.
- Be solely responsible for managing opt-out requests from contacts. You must honor opt-out requests promptly and must not send further messages to contacts who have unsubscribed.
- Acknowledge that Creatio provides an interface for sending WhatsApp bulk messages through your own WhatsApp Business Account connected via the Meta Cloud API. Creatio is not responsible for message delivery, Meta's platform availability, or any actions taken by Meta in relation to your WhatsApp Business Account, including account restrictions or suspensions resulting from policy violations.
- Be solely responsible for maintaining the quality and accuracy of contact data used for WhatsApp messaging, including ensuring phone numbers are valid and belong to recipients who have consented to receive messages.
- Acknowledge that Creatio does not provide consulting services for WhatsApp deliverability optimization or Meta policy compliance. You are responsible for adhering to Meta's messaging guidelines and ensuring the success and compliance of your messaging activities.
- Accept full responsibility for the content of all message templates submitted for Meta approval through Creatio. Creatio is not liable for templates that are rejected by Meta or for any consequences arising from non-compliant template content.
