Create user and setup workspaces
Glossary Item Box
The next step before starting development is the creation of a user with administrator rights and adding a new workspace.
Creating a new user
The system already has a user with system administrator rights called "superuser". You can carry out development in the bpm'online system using this user account. We recommend creating a separate account for each company employee who will perform development.
For more information about creating of new user and adding necessary rights, see article "How to add new user in bpm'online". Assign a role [System administrators] to the new user so that they would be able to perform development in the system.
Creating a new workspace
A workspace in the bpm'online system is a set of packages. Each of them, in its turn, is a set of definite functionalities. You can form the final functionality of the system by managing the combination of packages in a certain workspace. All workspaces are independent.
ATTENTION It is not recommended to perform development in several configurations. Please, use Default configuration only. Creation of configurations and development in the production environment is strictly forbidden. |
