Create a custom theme
Theming is available for Enterprise and Unlimited pricing plans. Learn more: Creatio Composable Pricing.
Create a theme that matches the brand colors of your company, and apply it across the whole application. Pick the colors yourself in the no-code theme designer, or describe your brand to the Creatio AI app development toolkit and receive a matching palette.
To create a theme, you must have permission to the "Can manage themes" (CanManageThemes code) system operation. Learn more: Manage themes.
Use the theme designer
-
Click the
button in the top right → Set up view → Appearance setup. -
Open the Theming tab.
-
Click New in the Themes expanded list. This opens the theme designer.
-
Enter the theme name in the Name field of the General settings panel.
-
Select the Enabled for users and Default checkboxes in the General settings panel to control who receives the theme (optional).
-
Set the brand colors in the Brand colors panel.
Use Primary for the overall look of the interface, Secondary to balance it, and Accent to highlight small details, such as active tabs and emphasis markers. When you set the Primary color, Creatio generates the Secondary color from it. Keep the generated value, or set your own after you set the Primary color, because setting Primary again regenerates it.
-
Set the system colors in the System colors panel (optional).
Neutral, Error, and Success indicate status rather than brand. Gray, red, and green are the colors users recognize in every Creatio environment, but you can use the status colors of your company instead. Each color picker describes the role of its palette.
- Check the Preview panel. It updates as you change the colors, and displays how the interface elements look in the new theme.
- Click Save.
As a result, Creatio will create the theme and add it to the Themes expanded list. To change its colors later, make it available to users, or set it as the default, see Manage themes.
Copy an existing theme
Start from a theme that already exists on your environment instead of setting every color from scratch.
-
Click the
button in the top right → Set up view → Appearance setup. -
Open the Theming tab.
-
Find the theme to copy in the Themes expanded list.
-
Open the menu in the row of the theme → Copy. This opens the theme designer with a copy of the theme.
-
Enter a name for the copy in the Name field.
-
Change the colors of the copy.
-
Select the Default checkbox to apply the copy across the environment (optional).
A copy never inherits the default state of the source theme.
-
Click Save.
As a result, Creatio will create a theme that inherits the colors, fonts, and Enabled for users state of the source theme.
Use the Creatio AI app development toolkit
Share the brand guide of your company with a coding agent connected to the Creatio AI app development toolkit and receive a matching palette, instead of picking the colors yourself. Learn more: Creatio AI app development toolkit, Start working with Creatio AI app development toolkit.
- Describe your brand to the coding agent. Provide the theme name, the primary brand color, and the font family.
- Review the suggested colors and confirm them.
As a result, Creatio will create the theme and apply it. Reload the page to see the result.
You can also ask the agent to set the logos of your company and generate a matching desktop background at the same time, for a consistent look. Learn more: Customize the Freedom UI.
