Enhance communication workflow using Creatio.ai

You can use Creatio.ai directly in Microsoft Outlook or Teams using a dedicated add-in. This lets you automate repetitive tasks, retrieve CRM insights, and interact with AI-powered virtual agent assistants to streamline sales operations. Sales and customer-facing professionals can prepare for meetings, access opportunities, and review contact data directly in their collaboration environment.

The Outlook version of the add-in provides a concise summary view for quick preparation, while the Teams version supports full conversational capabilities during live sessions.

Important

Creatio.ai add-in is available for Microsoft Teams for a limited number of beta testers.

Example

A sales representative opens the Creatio.ai add-in in Outlook and sets up a meeting. Before the session, they use Creatio.ai both in Outlook and Teams to prepare for the meeting, review related accounts and opportunities, and identify contacts to which the meeting was forwarded. When the meeting starts, they open the add-in in Teams to capture notes and clarify data. After the meeting they can make a recap of the info—all without leaving Teams or Outlook.

Access Creatio AI in Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook and go to your calendar.
  2. Select a meeting and open the detailed view.
  3. Go to the Apps section → Creatio.ai. This opens the add-in as a compact side panel. You can open the add-in from the email window in a similar way as well.
  4. Review the contextual summary prepared by Creatio.ai. The add-in displays key meeting data: participants, related accounts, and opportunity insights.
  5. Click Join with Creatio.ai to continue the same AI-assisted conversation in Microsoft Teams during the live meeting.

Access Creatio.ai in Microsoft Teams

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and go to the Calendar tab.

  2. Select a scheduled meeting and open its detailed view.

  3. Click the Creatio.ai tab or select ChatCreatio.ai. The add-in opens as a dedicated tab within the meeting view.

  4. Click Prepare for the sales meeting to start a contextual session. Creatio.ai retrieves relevant emails and CRM data related to the meeting participants. The system identifies the related accounts, contacts, and opportunities from Creatio.

  5. Review the summarized meeting context that includes the following:

    • customer details and related opportunities
    • key stakeholders and current deal stages
    • product interests and AI-generated recommendations
  6. Use the chat panel to ask follow-up questions or generate a custom meeting agenda.

  7. Open the Creatio.ai side panel during the meeting from the meeting window to continue the conversation, take notes, or verify CRM data in real time.

  8. Reopen the same chat thread after the meeting to review the AI-generated summary or add post-meeting notes.

The Creatio.ai conversation remains linked to the specific meeting event. When you switch to another meeting, a new conversation starts automatically, preserving the context of each event.
