Terrasoft.Common Namespace > ResourceGroup Class : GetItemByName Method

name: Name of the resource to search.

Gets resource with the specified name from the current resource group and its subgroups or throws an exception if the resource with this name was not found.

Syntax

public ResourceItem GetItemByName( 
   System.string name
)

Parameters

name: Name of the resource to search.

Return Value

First found resource with the name name in the current resource group and its subgroups.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
ItemNotFoundException	If the resource with name name is not found in the current resource group and its subgroups.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
