Add bulk email audience

You can manage audience efficiently by using dynamic and static folders to add or exclude contacts from bulk emails without the need for manual filters.

Before you start managing audience, create a corresponding folder to include or exclude contacts in the Contacts section. Learn more: Folders. You can also use an existing folder if needed.

Add contacts

To add contacts:

  1. Open the Bulk emails section.

  2. Open the relevant record.

  3. Go to the Audience tab → Add audience. This opens a window.

  4. Select the needed folder → Select. Creatio will display the number of total contacts, unsubscribed contacts, and hard bounced contacts in the folder.

If you select a dynamic folder, the number of contacts might change over time as Creatio applies the folder criteria continuously.

As a result, Creatio will add contacts to the recipient list. Each email address will only receive the message once, even if it appears in multiple folders. You will be able to see the exact audience together with responses after the email is sent.

note

Licenses are only spent on new contacts. The number of licenses required is calculated after the bulk email is sent.

Exclude contacts

You can exclude contacts from the email audience, for example, to respect audience preferences or ensure compliance with communication regulations. To do this:

  1. Open the Bulk emails section.
  2. Open the relevant record.
  3. Go to the Audience tab → Exclude. This opens a window.
  4. Select the needed folder → Select. Creatio will display the number of total contacts, unsubscribed contacts, and hard bounced contacts in the folder.

As a result, Creatio will exclude the contacts from the recipient list, even if they are included in the selected audience folder.
