How to work with trigger emails
A trigger email is an automated email that is sent when certain actions are performed by visitors of your website. For example, a trigger email can be sent as a result of a registration by a visitor of your website. Thus, the trigger emails allow you to send personalized emails that relevant for a particular customer at the present time.

In bpm’online marketing, trigger emails can only be sent as part of a campaign.
The sending method of a trigger email is set up in the campaign in which the trigger email is included. There are three sending methods:
•Time based - sent after a period of time or at a specific time. Trigger email will be sent to the contacts who moved to the corresponding step in the campaign. For example, you can send educational content on your software product in three days after the trial version order.
•After a defined time - sent after a period of time after an event. For example, you can send a trigger email 15 minutes after a customer leaves your website without placing an order but did add products to the cart.
•Event based - sent after a certain event. For example, this can be a welcome letter after filling in the landing form.
To use trigger emails in bpm'online, perform the following actions in the Email and Campaigns sections:
1.Create a trigger email in the [Emails] section.
2.Create a new campaign in the Campaigns section.
Include the trigger email in the campaign and set the sending conditions to immediately after a certain event or daily at a specified time. Add other items in the campaign if needed.
3.Start the campaign that is connected to the trigger email. The trigger email will be sent automatically after the campaign start. The audience for the trigger email can be formed automatically.
4.Analyze the totals of the trigger email and bulk email conversion.
