How to set up the synchronization of bpm'online contacts and activities with Google contacts and calendar

To allow synchronization of Google contacts and calendar with bpm’online contacts and activities, the synchronization must be set up beforehand.

An example of setting up synchronization in the Contacts section is given below.

1.Open the Contacts section.

2.Create a private tag to be used for synchronization, for example, “Google synchronization”.

3.Select the [Synchronize contacts] option in the menu of the [Actions] button. On the opened setting page:

a.Select the [Synchronize activities automatically] option and specify the synchronization period to synchronize activities automatically. To start synchronization from a particular date, select the required date in the [Synchronize activities starting from] field.

b.Select the [Synchronize contacts automatically] option and specify the synchronization period to synchronize contacts automatically.

c.To synchronize contacts with a particular tag, specify the required tag in the [Export contacts with tag] field.

4.Click the [Save] button.

Note

The date and time of the latest synchronization session is displayed on the setup page.

As a result, both your Google account and the bpm’online contact tag for synchronization will be saved in the system, and the synchronization will be started at the specified time period automatically.

Note

In the [Activities] section, synchronization with Google is set up in the same manner. Note that you don't need to specify the tag for synchronizing tasks in the synchronization settings of the [Activities] section.
