Creatio Mobile for Intune app overview

Level: beginner

If your company needs to protect Creatio Mobile data stored on employee devices, Creatio provides a dedicated app for this purpose — Creatio Mobile for Intune. Use Creatio Mobile for Intune when your company needs this data to be protected, for example, with PIN enforcement, data encryption, remote wipe, or data-leak prevention controls.

Creatio Mobile for Intune app specifics

Both Creatio Mobile and Creatio Mobile for Intune share the same core build and deliver identical CRM functionality, syncing with the Creatio server and giving access to section records. The key difference is that the Intune version integrates with the Microsoft Intune App SDK, which connects the app to your corporate Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies and unlocks a set of enterprise security capabilities. Capabilities available in the Creatio Mobile for Intune app

Capability

Description

App management via Microsoft Intune admin center

Administrators can centrally distribute the app to employee devices, push updates, and revoke access using the Microsoft Intune admin center, without requiring individual action from employees.

App Protection Policies (MAM)

Administrators can enforce corporate data protection rules directly on the app, independent of device enrollment status. These rules can include PIN or biometric requirements before opening the app, data encryption at rest, copy/paste restrictions between managed and unmanaged apps, screenshot prohibition, and links opening only in Microsoft Edge.

Selective wipe

Administrators can remotely remove only Creatio corporate data from a device when an employee leaves the company or a device is lost, leaving personal data untouched.

Compliance and conditional access

Access to Creatio Mobile can be restricted to devices that meet defined corporate policies. These policies can include a minimum OS version, no jailbreak or root, and registration in Microsoft Entra ID. Configuring conditional rules for Creatio Mobile for Intune app is available for Creatio version 8.1.2 and later.

BYOD and fully managed device support

The Intune version works both in Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) scenarios without full MDM enrollment (MAM-only mode) and on fully managed corporate devices enrolled in Intune.

Login to the Creatio Mobile for Intune app

Login to Creatio Mobile for Intune app requires corporate credentials, as with the Creatio Mobile app. However, login is only possible after Microsoft Intune integration has been configured in the Microsoft Intune admin center.
