Campaign element groups

Find the campaign element you need faster in a Campaign Designer where related elements are combined into groups in the Elements area. A group is displayed as an icon marked with an arrow. You can expand it to view the elements that belong to that group. Both grouped and ungrouped elements appear in the same Elements palette: frequently used elements stay directly available, while related elements are organized into groups. Element grouping is available in the Campaign Designer of the Email Marketing, Digital Ads, Lead Generation, and Event Management apps.

Element groups

The Elements area contains the following groups:

  • Triggered entry. Elements that add participants to the campaign and start the flow, either on a schedule or in response to an event. For example, the Add from web page element adds participants when a web form is filled out on a landing page integrated via webhooks.
  • Data management. Elements that create or update Creatio records for the campaign's participants. For example, the Add data and Modify data elements.
  • Flow logic. Elements that route participants through the campaign and control its timing and branching. For example, the Timer and Web page elements.
  • Outcomes. Elements that define the result of a participant's journey through the campaign. For example, the Exit from campaign and Add to event elements.

An element can belong to more than one group when it serves more than one purpose. For example, the Add to event element appears in both the Flow logic and Outcomes groups.

Custom campaign elements are not assigned to a group out of the box and appear in the Elements area outside the groups.
